Gus' feedings have increased again, now 8ml every 3 hours. He is processing the milk really well. He is also receiving a drug called Lasix to help him get rid of some internal fluids that have been building up in his lungs. It sounds bad, but we are told this is pretty normal for little people like Gus.
It's so nice to receive everyone's comments on the blog - thanks for your concern and prayers. Knowing you all are with us in spirit is an amazing gift and encouragement.

Well thank God everyone knows exactly what to do to keep Gus going strong and that the means to accomplish these things are available. A web of miracles...
And by the way, in the case that you weren't aware, Gus is one of the most beautiful babies I've ever seen.

I have been reading every day since Brice posted this information in a Journey UCC email. I continue to hold the three of you, along with the wonderful medical team who is caring for Gus, in my prayers. This wonderful little boy has stolen many hearts in his young life.
