Gus and the monkeys

Gus had just fallen off the bed and bit his tongue - lots of blood oozing out of his mouth as dad tried to calm him down.

It was a great time to sing "no more monkeys jumping on the bed"...

Daycare - 80s Day!

OK - when I think of the 80s I think of Sid Vicious, Joe Strummer, Patty Smythe, and Jello Biafra. Punks in their day.

So when 80s day came around at Gus' daycare I couldn't help but give tribute to these legends of rock. A t-shirt with cut-off sleeves and enough hair gel to build a bridge and viola...


Gus may not have been as pleased as I was...


He sure was a good sport though!

Almost Two (Nothing Run's Like a Deere...)

Gus' grandparents in North Dakota sent him a John Deere hat and a potty-training book for his second birthday. The hat and book were both great fun tonight!

















It is really hard to believe this great little guy will be two tomorrow! We are so blessed!

Jill and Gus were at the March of Dimes prematurity awareness day at our March of Dimes branch and were once again interviewed for Dayton's Local 12 (WDTN) news.

Gus' First Haircut

Gus had his first haircut last Friday. He seemed to like it well enough - hair in the eyes and the electric trimmer weren't so fun though!


OK, not so bad...


I'm thinking this will be pretty good.

Tubes and Walking

Gus had ear tubes put in on 9/26/07 - everything went really well and by the evening he was back to his funny self. He is now 33 inches long and 22lbs 8oz! Such a big boy!
