After a day at Children's of Dayton, Gus is home. Needless to say, Jill's night was not very restful... Gus was discharged at 5:00pm this evening (6/13/07) and is now sleeping well. We were told to keep him in as cold of an environment as is possible. We put the pack-n-play in the basement and have turned the AC way down. He seems happy as usual, a little rattling cough, but not nearly as heavy as last night.

The journey of preemie Magnus (Gus) George Brekke born on 2/26/06 at 8:18pm. He weighed in at 1 lb 12.25 oz and was 13.5 inches long at 25 weeks of gestation. Truly a gift from God...

Hope he's o.k. I just happened to look at the blog tonight and saw that he was sick.
So glad to hear Gus is feeling better. We're leaving for Michigan this Saturday and will be "incomunicados" until the 24 when we get back to Dayton. Will check on you all on the 24th as soon as I get home. A big hug to all three of you!
